VANCOUVER, Wash. - It took an overtime period, but Portland CC finally dispatched a fiesty Clark College team 100-93 on the road tonight.
Daniel Hornbuckle was the catalyst, scoring a team high 30 points for the Panthers including five in the extra period to help seal the win.
The host Penguins forced overtime thanks to a game tying three pointer from Ethan Smith inside the final ticks on the clock.
Alonzo Parnell aslo scored five crucial points in the overtime session, and finished with with 16 points. Ethan Channel continued his stellar play, adding 25 points and 14 rebounds.
PCC finished the regular season at 11-5 in NWAC South Region play, placing 2nd in the division. They will learn their opponent in the first round of the NWAC Championship Tournament on Sunday, March 1.
