PORTLAND, Ore. - In a game where both teams generated goal-scoring chances, it was the visitors that took advantage as Rogue CC defeated Portland CC 3-1.

The visiting Ospreys were more clinical in front of goal, and used two first half scores to set the tone for the match. 

The first tally came just 48 seconds after the starting whistle, followed by a second later in the period.

The host Panthers found their footing in the second half and were rewarded with a strike from Conrado Mate Rothgerber.

PCC was searching for an equalizing goal but instead surrendered a penalty kick very late. The attempt was initially saved by keeper Noe Rodriguez, but the rebound was poked across the goal line.

Portland will conclude their season on October 27 versus Lane CC.
