PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Community College men's soccer earned their first win of 2021 with a 5-0 scoreline over Southwestern Oregon yesterday at Rock Creek Fields.

Conrado Mate Rothgerber scored his first goal of the season in the early action, giving PCC the edge. The visiting Lakers conceded that goal but made things difficult for the Panthers and had several scoring chances of their own.

The second half was different however, as a penalty kick from Jeremy Revelo-Romano doubled the lead for the Panthers in the 55th minute. PCC proceeded to tack on three more goals before the final whistle.

Jonathan Gutierrez and Rayyan Abu-Marjoub found the net, and Mate Rothgerber added another goal to round out the scoring.

PCC will continue NWAC play on Saturday, September 18 with a trip to face a very strong Rogue CC team.
