OREGON CITY, Ore. - Portland CC women's soccer rebounded from a tough loss last week with a 4-0 win over Clackamas today on the road.
It took a while for the Panthers to break through an organized Cougar defense, but Jordyn James scored her third goal of the season just before halftime.
PCC added to their lead by scoring three more goals during a 10 minute stretch of the second half. Paige Nguyen scored goals in the 69th and 74th minutes, giving her a total of eight for the season.Â
Abigail Pantoja found the target in the 78th minute, rounding out the scoring. Sophia Barr made three saves, and combined with Sohia Rauda for the shutout.
The result  moves PCC back into 1st place atop the NWAC Southern Region at 5-1.
