PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland did not get the result they wanted yesterday, falling to Clackamas 2-1 at home.

The Cougars were aiming to get back at the Panthers, as PCC defeated CCC 2-0 earlier in the season.

This time Clackamas was ready, and controlled the first half with goals scored in the 21st and 42nd minutes.

Portland made their adjustments at halftime and grew into the game in the second half. Layne Montgomery scored her 3rd goal of the season just four minutes into the period to cut the Cougar lead in half.

No more goals were forthcoming however, despite three more shots and four corner kicks.

Evelyn Hollingsworth made seven saves on the day.
