PORTLAND, Ore. - Five PCC players reached double figures today during a comfortable win for the Panthers over Pacific JV, 104-53.
It wasn't a rout from the beginning as the home team got off to a slow start and led just 19-16 midway through the first half.
A 19-0 run at that point erased any doubt about the outcome, and Portland only expanded their lead from there. PCC held Pacific to just 33 percent shooting for the game, while hitting for a robust 55 percent on their own attempts.
Jaxson Spafford was the top scorer with 19 points on 5 of 9 three point shooting. Jackson Leach added 16 points, joined by Mekhi Muhammad (12), Casey Talana (11), and Charles Manigo (10) in double figures.
