EVERETT, Wash. - It was all Portland, all the time during a 97-57 win for the PPC men over Tacoma yesterday at the Everett Crossover.
After three games scoring 64 points or less, the Panthers found their shooting touch in this one. PCC made a robust 62 percent of their field goal attempts, and hit 8 of 21 tries from behind the arc.
On the other hand, the Spartans had trouble finding good looks at the rim. PCC held Tacoma to 33 percent shooting, and forced 24 turnovers that led directly to 28 points for the Panthers.
PCC jumped out to a 9-0 lead before anyone could blink, and built an 18 point advantage by halftime.
The second half was more of the same, with the Panthers getting contributions from multiple players.Â
Jackson Leach led the team with 19 points, while Luke Jessup added 16 points and nine rebounds.
