PORTLAND, Ore. - A lid was on the rim most of the night for Portland CC, as the Panthers fell 72-43 to Clark today at the Cascade Campus.

PCC could only muster a 25 percent shooting effort, which included an 0-17 drought from the three point line. The offensive struggles were a source of frustration as open shots rimmed out, with Clark able to capitalize at the other end.

Emily Peabody was the driving force for the visiting Penguins, hitting for 32 points from inside and out. The Panthers were unable to respond with any consistent scoring, as a solid defensive effort and rebounding performance were not enough.

A nice game from new addition Udoka Amadi was a highlight, as the freshman scored 14 points on 6 of 11 shooting. Kamakila Waiwaiole added 11 points and nine rebounds.
