PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland CC came up short in a late season test versus region leaders Lane yesterday at the Rock Creek field.
The Panthers fell 3-1 to the unbeaten Titans, with Lane scoring all three goals in the first half. The scoreline reflected the run of play, as Lane outshot PCC 10-2 in the period and won three corner kicks.
Portland kept the visitors off the scoreboard in the second half, and pulled one goal back on Ema Streng's penalty kick in the 52nd minute. No further chances found the net for PCC, allowing lane to keep their record unblemished.
