OREGON CITY, Ore. - Portland CC Women's Soccer wrapped up their season with a 2-0 win at Clackamas yesterday afternoon.
The result moves the Panther's overall record to 9-6-1, and 8-5-1 in the the NWAC South standings. The eight region wins is a program best under head coaches Shawn Bundy and Alexa Cooper, but only good enough for 4th place in the region this year and outside of the playoff spots.
PCC got both their goals in this one in the second half.
Tiffany Rodriguez got on the end of a Kalei Rezentes corner kick in the 67th minute, and one timed it into the roof of the net from close range.
In the 72nd minute, Ema Streng set a PCC record with her 10th goal of the season - again from a corner kick. Lexi Taggart provided the service that Streng volleyed with aplomb into the net from 8 yards out. Â
Goalkeeper Evelyn Hollingsworth capped an outstanding career at PCC with two saves and her 9th career shutout.Â
