GRESHAM, Ore. - Portland CC made it four wins in their last five games to close out the 2025-26 season with a 75-70 win at Mt. Hood yesterday.
It wasn't the cleanest of games, but PCC managed to build a 10 point lead by halftime. Jaxson Spafford made all three of his three point attempts in the first half to provide the spark.
The Panthers fought off several comebacks by the host Saints, as the two teams traded the lead six times in the 2nd half.
Portland made the plays that counted down the stretch, outscoring MHCC 7-2 in the final three minutes of action. Spafford scored four more points to push PCC over the top.
Spafford finished with 23 points to lead the Panthers. Jackson Leach added 20 points and seven assists.
