PORTLAND, Ore. - Lane CC used a 62 percent shooting performance in the second half to hand Portland a tough loss at home today at Cascade Gym.

The Panthers held a slim one point lead (33-32) after a low scoring first half by both teams. PCC wasn't finding much success scoring from set plays or transition but did manage to get to the free throw line 17 times, making 13.

The visiting Titans caught fire after the break, hitting 15 of 24 shot attempts during the 20 minutes of action. Meanwhile, Portland couldn't find the range from distance (5 of 17) or overall (13 of 37). 

Jackson Leach did his best to keep PCC in the game, pouring in 25 second half points and 33 in total. Luke Jessup also contributed double figure points with 12. 

The result drops Portland to 4-7 in region play, two games out of playoff contention.
