PORTLAND, Ore. - Over 20 Panther alumni put together a solid team to take on the current PCC women's soccer team on Saturday at the Rock Creek Campus.

The 2026 Portland squad enjoyed a friendly match versus a wide range of players from past seasons. The alums were coached by current PCC Athletics Coordinator Sara Landis, who led the makeshift group to a 1-1 draw with the current team.

The alums went on to win a penalty shootout 5-3.

"Today was a fantastic day as we celebrated the former players who have meant so much to our college and our women's soccer program, while also getting a preview of this year's team," said Athletic Director Tony Broadous. "This is something we've talked about and hoped to make happen for a couple of years, so it was exciting to finally see it come together. We were really pleased with how many alumni came back to participate, and the energy they brought made the day even more special. To have a super competitive game that went into overtime was an awesome way to kick off what we expect will become a new tradition for our program."  

Afterwards, the two teams enjoyed lunch together while sharing memories and experiences at PCC.
