EUGENE, Ore. - Portland CC put forth a strong effort on the road today, but fell to Lane CC 2-1 in NWAC South Region Play.
The host Titans finished the game with 15 total shots, with Panther goalkeeper Evelyn Hollingsworth dealing with most of them comfortably (8 saves).Â
Lane managed to break through once in each half, and as time ticked away they looked to secure the region win with a shutout.Â
Portland made it interesting in the final moments, as Alli Aldinger scored her 3rd goal of the season in the 86th minute.
Despite throwing players forward, PCC couldn't find the equalizer and came up empty on a last minute corner kick.
