PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland and Southwestern Oregon found the net once each on the way to a 1-1 draw today at the Rock Creek Campus.
The visiting Lakers struck first in the 32nd minute. Working the ball forward on the right flank, Emmanual Mure crossed the ball to a streaking Ryder Moore who tapped the ball home at the near post.
Portland had to wait until the 53rd minute of the second half to equalize. After some sustained pressure, PCC won a foul in the penalty area. Yahair Galindo dispatched the spot kick with ease.
Portland generated 10 shots compared to 6 from SWOC. Panther keeper Nery Juarez made three saves.
