Shawn Bundy - Head Women's Soccer Coach

Shawn Bundy

Shawn Bundy just completed his third season as head coach of the Panther women’s soccer team. Taking over a program with only one returning player in 2023, he guided the Panthers to a competitive 5-7-2 record and earning NWAC South Region Coach of the Year honors. In 2024, the Panthers built on that success with a 2nd place finish in the NWAC South Region and securing a home playoff match. Then in 2025, the Panthers improved again to tie for the fewest losses in program history (four) with a final record of 7-4-3 and another postseason appearance.

Coach Shawn brings extensive coaching experience, having developed successful programs at several Oregon high schools. He served as head girl’s coach at Ida B. Wells (2016–18), and Reynolds (2012–15), and as head boy's coach at Philomath (2006–10). His work has earned multiple Coach of the Year awards (2007, 2009, 2018). He also holds an Advanced National Coaching Diploma from United Soccer Coaches (equivalent a USSF B License) and has served as the United Soccer Coaches Girls All-American Northwest Region Chair for the last ten years.

As a player, Shawn was a four-year starting goalkeeper at Swarthmore College (PA) and Hamline University (MN), earning multiple all-league honors and being named team MVP as a senior.

With his commitment to player development and team culture, Shawn has established PCC women’s soccer as a rising and competitive destination for student-athletes looking to elevate their game at the collegiate level!
