Shawn Bundy - Head Women's Soccer Coach

Shawn Bundy

Shawn Bundy just completed his third season as head coach of the Panther women’s soccer team. Taking over a program with only one returning player in 2023, he made an immediate impact, guiding the Panthers to a competitive 5-7-2 record and earning NWAC South Region Coach of the Year honors. In 2024, the Panthers built on that success with a 2nd place finish in the NWAC South Region and securing a home playoff match. Then in 2025, the Panthers improved again to post season that tied for the fewest losses in program history and racked up a final record of 7-4-3 and another postseason appearance.

Shawn brings extensive coaching experience, having developed successful programs at several Oregon high schools. He served as head women’s coach at Ida B. Wells (2016–18) and Reynolds (2012–15), and as head boys’ coach at Philomath (2006–10). His work has earned multiple Coach of the Year awards (2007, 2009, 2018). He also holds a B Level Coaching License and serves as the United Soccer Coaches Girls All-American Region Chair.

As a player, Shawn was a four-year starting goalkeeper at Swarthmore College (PA) and Hamline University (MN), earning multiple all-league honors and being named team MVP as a senior.

With his commitment to player development and program culture, Shawn has established PCC women’s soccer as a rising and competitive destination for student-athletes looking to elevate their game at the collegiate level. 2026 should be an exciting year for the program and Shawn is excited that Coach Alexa has been promoted to Co-Head Coach for the upcoming season!
