PORTLAND, Ore. - PCC completed a comeback to slip past the Seattle Mountaineers 75-69 in an exhibition contest on Saturday at the Cascade Gym.
The Panthers trailed by 12 points with 8:35 to play, then outscored Seattle 26-8 to close the game.
PCC managed just 37 percent shooting on the night but used some key baskets, free throw makes, and stingy defense to secure the victory.
With the game tied at 68-68 with 1:31 on the clock, Portland made 6 of 7 free throws while holding the Mountaineers scoreless to finish the contest.
The visiting Mountaineers were held to 38 percent shooting, but could manage just 29 percent from behind the arc.
George Sadi set the pace for PCC with 24 points and seven rebounds, while Trevon Richmond added 16 counters.
