CENTRALIA, Wash. - After a lackluster first half, Portland CC took control of the game in the second to come away with an impressive 87-72 win at Centralia on Wednesday.
46 of those points came from the Panther bench players, led by Jackson Galliardi with a season high 13 points and 11 rebounds. Also in double figures among the reserves was Ambrose Johnson (11 points), and Josiah Sewell (10 points).
Treyvon Richmond was constant presence for PCC, playing a complete game and contributing 17 points and 5 assists.
The Panthers trailed 38-33 at halftime, and were shooting just 37 percent from the field. The Panthers flipped a switch after the break, keyed by the aforementioned bench group, and owned the second period thanks to a 20-38 effort in field goal tries.
