PORTLAND, Ore. - After a back and forth first half, Lower Columbia used three point shooting to pull away from Portland CC on Wednesday night.
The visiting Red Devils held a slim one point lead after the first half, as the Panthers and LC matched each other shot for shot.
The team continued to battle in the second period, as the lead was exchanged several times.
After Treyvon Richmond converted a layup with 10:12 on the clock, PCC led 57-56 and the game was shaping up to go down to the wire.
Lower Columbia proceeded to go on an 11-0 run at that juncture, including a trio of makes from behind the arc run to take control.
Treyvon Richmond (18) and George Sadi (16) led the Panthers in scoring.Â
