BELLEVUE, Wash. - Despite outshooting their opponent 15-9, The Portland CC men's soccer team fell at Bellevue College on the road today.
It was the first counting contest of the season for the Panthers, and first game jitters may have contributed to the result. The host Bulldogs tallied two early goals (3rd and 24th minutes), then bunkered defensively to secure the win.
PCC settled into the game after the early action and outshot Bellevue 14-2 in the second period, but could not breakthrough.
Rakan Abu-Marjoub led the Panthers with five shots.Â
