SALEM, Ore. - A spirited start from Portland CC men's soccer was undone by four straight goals by Chemeketa in a 4-2 loss in Salem on Saturday.
Early goals from Jonathan Gutierrez and Jeremy Ravelo-Romano let the visiting Panthers stake a 2-0 lead in the early action.
Defensive breakdowns plagued the Panthers from that point, with individual errors and team miscommunication proving to be culprits.
As a result, the rest of game belonged to the Storm as the home team reeled of four straight tallies to upend PCC for the NWAC Region win.
The Panthers will make their home debut on Wednesday, September 15th versus Southwestern Oregon.
