SHORELINE, Wash. - A barrage of first half goals from Portland CC sent the Panthers past Shoreline today at Twin Ponds Park.

The Panthers put five goals past the Shoreline defense in the first 45 minutes, providing an insurmountable cushion as PCC cruised in the second half to the 6-2 victory.

All six goals were scored by different players, showing a diversity in attack and an improvement over PCC's scoreless first three games. 

Mya Smith got things rolling in the 15th minute, followed by goals from Lisa Albarran, Vanesa Preciado, Kiara Melendez, and Nyah Jaloff. 

Melissa Fraijo tacked on a 6th goal after halftime.

The host Orcas found some footing in the second half, as Sophia Post and Olivia Moffett found the back of the net.

Goalkeeper Wren Louis made two saves to earn the win for PCC.
