TUKWILA, Wash. - In the season opener for PCC, the Panther men's soccer team fell 4-1 to Everett CC at the NWAC Friendlies.
After a scoreless battle for 43 minutes, Everett scored two goals just before halftime. The pair of strikes stunned the Panthers as they headed to the break, and set te tone for the second half as well.
The break to discuss tactics did not change the game for PCC, as Everett tallied two more goals - both by River Stewart - which put the game out of reach.
Alex Martins provided a consolation goal for Portland in the 85th minute.
PCC will take on Walla Walla for their second matchup of the NWAC Friendlies.
