PCC suffered from a scoring drought that lasted all of the second and third quarters. After putting up an encouraging 15 points in the first period, the Panthers connected for just four points in each of the next two stanzas. Meanwhile, Lane was very efficient from the floor all game long, and launched away from the three point line on the way to 16 makes from that distance.
The 4th quarter was an even affair, but the damage had long been done. PCC finished the game at 26 percent shooting (13 of 50), while Lane was much better at 43 percent (36 of 84)
