EVERETT, Wash. - Portland CC women's basketball moved to 9-0 after a 101-48 rout of Tacoma CC today. The game was the second of three scheduled at the NWAC Crossover Tournament hosted by Everett CC.
The Panthers once again led wire to wire, this time running out to a 21-6 lead midway through the first quarter. The offense was clicking for most of the game as the team torched the nets for 53 percent shooting (33 of 64). PCC spread the wealth, as five players reached double figures and all 13 players in uniform scored at least one basket.Â
On the other hand, Tacoma had a difficult time with the Panther defense, scoring at a 25 percent clip and hit just 4 of 24 three point attempts.
Cara Dinneen and Kirsten Martin lead the way with 15 points each. Lilly Walker added 13 points and nine rebounds, both season highs.
