PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland CC women's soccer was unable to continue their winning ways today, dropping a 3-0 decision to Chemeketa CC at the Rock Creek Campus.
After two shutout wins in a row, the Panthers couldn't muster a consistent attack versus the Storm. PCC registered just three shots for the game - all by attacking midfielder Melissa Fraijo. Two corner kicks were also dealt with by the Storm defense.
On the other half of the field, the Panther defense was generally well organized and sturdy, allowing just eight total shots. Chemeketa took their chances well however, and found the back of the net twice in the first half and once in the second.
