EUGENE, Ore. - The Portland CC women's soccer team traveled to Lane for their NWAC South Region opening game, and fell to the Titans 4-1.
The improving Panthers managed to score first in this contest, as Thalia Monroy put PCC on the board in the 17th minute. The host Titans responded with two first half goals of their own however, took that 2-1 lead into halftime.
Lane would tack on two more goals in the second period, as Portland had no answer for Jillian Goggins who scored three of the four goals that Lane put into the net.
Aleena Calvert played all 90 minutes in goal for PCC, making five saves.
