PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland CC men's soccer suffered a 4-1 loss at home to Rogue CC today in NWAC South play.
The match was decided during the first ten minutes of the second half.
The action on the field was competitive through the first period, with the visiting Ospreys managing a goal in the 36th minute. Any hopes the Panthers had of controlling the second half were dashed as Rogue scored three goals before 10 minutes had elapsed.
The Panthers seemed to wake up at that point, and did not concede another goal but the damage had been done. PCC started to create some danger going forward, and broke through for a consolation goal in the 78th minute with Alexis Llamas scoring his 3rd of the season.
