PORTLAND, Ore. - The first game for Portland at the NWAC Crossover was a heavy loss versus Lower Columbia by the score of 91-48.
The second half was a nightmare scenario for the host Panthers. A lid went on the hoop as they say, as no PCC player could find the range - in the paint or from the perimeter.Â
This was after Portland kept it close versus a talented LCC squad in the first half, trailing just 39-32 heading into the locker room. The Devils came out in the second period making nearly every shot, while the Panthers went ice cold.
PCC managed a meager 17 percent shooting effort (6 of 35) over the 20 minutes of action.
Daniel James muscled inside for 12 points and eight rebounds. Vashon Hardges added eight points and 10 rebounds, but no other Panther reached double figures.
