PASCO, Wash. - Portland received contributions from every player on the way to a 70-44 win over Everett today at the NWAC Crossover event held at Columbia Basin College.
All nine players in uniform got on the scoreboard, and the team passed for a total of 19 assists - the most in a game this season.
Portland led from the opening basket and never trailed. The Trojans did stay in the game through the first half, with PCC leading by eight (37-29) at halftime.
The Panthers pulled away in the second half, holding Everett to just 15 total points in quarters 3 and 4. The dominance in the paint in favor of PCC began to show on the scoreboard, as the Panthers crashed the boards for 25 offensive rebounds leading to 22 second chance points.
Cheyanne Ashworth led the way with 15 points and eight rebounds. Kaylee Foster reached double figures of the bench, scoring 11 including two three pointers.
