PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland CC eclipsed the century mark for the first time this season, and sprinted past Pacific JV 100-52 tonight at Harold Williams Court.
Pacific managed to stay close for the first few minutes, but PCC went on a 15-0 run that turned a two point lead (9-7) into a 24-7 advantage that only grew from there.
Portland's quickness and pressure defense never allowed the Boxers to get comfortable, and most misses from Pacific turned into a transition attack by the Panthers.
Jason Amens thrived with the pace, scoring 26 points while making seven of 13 three point attempts. Jackson Leach broke loose for 25 points of his own, while setting the table with 11 assists.
