VANCOUVER, Wash. - Goalkeeper Aleena Calvert was named the NWAC Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for August 26 - September 1.

Calvert had a great game in net for the Panthers on August 30, making seven saves in route to a 1-0 shutout victory over Lane. The victory helped PCC start 1-0 in South Region play. 

"Several of her saves were in 1 on 1 situations," said head coach Shawn Bundy. "Aleena is the biggest reason for our improvement throughout the last two years."
