VANCOUVER, Wash. - After a weekend of outstanding play, Amelia "Milly" Echternkamp was named the NWAC Athlete of the Week for January 13-19.

The freshman guard scored a PCC record 49 points in a 99-93 overtime victory over Chemeketa. She was on fire throughout, shooting 15-for-25 from the floor, 6-for-12 from beyond the arc and 13-for-16 from the free-throw line. She added three boards and two assists in the record-breaking performance. Then in the second game of the week, playing the point guard position, Echternkamp facilitated the offense to a 73-67 OT win with two points, five rebounds and seven assists.

Echternkamp now averages 15.5 points and 3.9 assists for the season.
