GRESHAM, Ore. - BettyAnn Wilson registered her second triple double of the season, leading Portland to a 79-57 win over Mt. Hood yesterday.
The sophomore point guard was everywhere, scoring 12 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and passing for 12 assists. She leads the team with 10.0 rebounds per game.
Fitting the pattern of many games this season, the 2nd quarter was the key period - this time in favor of the Panthers. PCC outscored the host Saints 27-14 over the 10 minutes of play thanks to 10 points from Lilly Walker.Â
The dominant quarter resulted in a 49-30 lead at halftime. The second half was much more competitive, but Mt. Hood could not make any headway due to shooting struggles. Portland kept the lead solid defense and timely three pointers from Tali Sanders and Raven Parson.
Walker finished with 20 points and seven rebounds, while Kaylee Foster finished with 13 points.
