PORTLAND, Ore. - Oliver Pasley put three goals on the board, leading Portland CC to their first region win of 2025, 4-1 over Klamath today at the Rock Creek Campus.
The four goal tally was the most scored in game by the Panthers since a 4-0 win over SWOC back in 2023.
Toward the end of an evenly matched first half, the Panthers managed to take the lead just before the break as Oliver Pasley took a square pass from Jacob Tropets about 20 yards from goal. The freshman cracked a low shot that beat the Klamath keeper into the bottom corner.
With the momentum in hand, PCC tacked on another goal just 23 seconds into the second half. Lincoln Dewar latched onto a poor clearance by the Badgers, and tucked home a shot from eight yards away.Â
Portland was on the way to a home victory, but not before some nervy moments. Three minutes after Dewar's goal, Klamath got on the board thanks to a curving free kick from Luis Serrato from 20 yards away.
After that strike, the visiting Badgers applied more pressure for the next few minutes. PCC weathered the storm, then put in a third goal in the 58th minute. Klamath once again could not clear a ball from their own penalty area. Pasley intercepted and drilled a shot from 12 yards away.Â
The last goal came in the 66th minute, with Pasley connecting again. This time it was a powerful header at the end of a corner kick from Eben Tapia.Â
The Panthers out shot Klamath 21-7 and generated nine corner kicks compared to four from the Badgers.
