PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland CC was unable to solve an organized defense from Rogue CC yesterday, and fell 1-0 to the Ospreys at the Rock Creek Fields.
The host Panthers experienced a tough first half, as they were out shot 14-1 and gave up a score in in the 21st minute. Joseph Roeper made three saves in the period to keep the score close.
After some halftime adjustments, PCC started to become a threat and sent five shots toward goal. The Panthers generated several quality chances late in the game but could not break through the Osprey resistance.Â
Travis Avery and Cole Feuerbacher were the most active with two shots each.
