EUGENE, Ore. - The Panther women settled for a scoreless draw at Lane CC yesterday on the road.
The result kept Portland atop the NWAC region standings, tied with Chemeketa at 3-0-2.
PCC kept a defensive posture for much of the game, allowing 12 shots of which 6 were on target. Keeper Evelyn Hollingsworth was up to the task saving all six attempts.
Opportunities to score were hard to come by, with the Panthers generating just three shots. PCC came up empty on all four corner kicks as well. Melanie Alcantar Lopez did her best to be a threat, generating two shots.
