PORTLAND, Ore. - Sophomore guard Jackson Leach was named NWAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for February 15-22.

Leach led the Panthers to a 2-1 week as he averaged an impressive 26.7 points per game, 9.3 assists per game, and 6.0 rebounds per game. In an 83-76 win over region champions Umpqua, Leach nearly had a triple double with 24 points, 10 assists and nine boards. He followed up with another double-double of 26 points, 10 assists, four steals, and two rebounds in an 86-64 win against Chemeketa. Finally, in a close overtime loss at SW Oregon, Leach had 30 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. He averaged 36 minutes for the week and shot 39.3 percent from the floor.
