Harold C. Williams Sr. - Outstanding Contributor Inductee

Harold C. Williams Sr. served as a member of the PCC Board of Trustees from 1991-2012 and is synonymous with Panthers Athletics. In honor of his advocacy and contributions made to PCC and the basketball programs, the basketball floor in the Cascade gym is named The Harold C.Williams Sr. Court. Williams was a well-known leader in the North and Northeast Portland communities for 50 years, he was a champion for educational opportunities to help at-risk students, and a leader in raising awareness about issues facing Portland's African American community. Additionally, Williams was instrumental in the hiring of current PCC head men's basketball coach Tony Broadous. The 2013-14 PCC men's basketball team dedicated their season and their historic NWAACC Championship title to honor the memory of Williams.
