PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Community College is pleased to welcome new Athletics Coordinator Sara Landis to the Panther staff.

Landis will be providing support to the athletics department, coordinating many key functions including event management, travel, social media, and student employment. She will also support the PCC Physical Education faculty and students inside the Cascade Gym.

Landis has several years of experience working with community college athletic departments. She has held coaching and administrative positions at Lane Community College, Chemeketa Community College, Clackamas Community College, and Mt. Hood Community College. 

"We are very happy to have Sara join our staff during this exciting time for Panther Athletics," said athletics director Tony Broadous. "What really stands out is her focus on student success, and creating the environment needed to make the educational experience for our students the best it can be. Sara has a wide range of skills and experience that we will put to use to enhance and grow PCC athletics."

Landis earned her B.A. from Western Oregon University, and Masters Degree in Sports Leadership from Concorida University of Chicago.
