PORTLAND, Ore.- The Portland CC men's and women's basketball teams concluded their seasons with a banquet and awards ceremony, held at the Cascade Campus.
The teams recognized their NWAC All Star performers, and also presented team awards as voted by their teammates. Nine Panthers were also recognized for achieving a 3.5 or better GPA for the winter term.
Distinguished guests and speakers included Vice President of Operations Joshua Peters-McBride, and PCC President Dr. Adrien L. Bennings.
"We want to celebrate the achievements of our athletes, and this event is a great way to showcase the amazing students we have at PCC," said Athletic Director Tony Broadous. "We are especially proud of the academic success of so many this year. Special thanks to our Vice President, Joshua Peters-McBride for championing this event, and President Bennings for supporting and encouraging our athletes."
