VANCOUVER, Wash. - Five Portland CC men's soccer players were named NWAC All Stars for their outstanding play during the 2024 season.

Attacking players Alexis Llamas, Kaito Thammavong, and Mohamed Abdikadir were all voted as 1st Team All Stars.

Llamas led the Panthers with five goals scored in 12 games played. The sophomore also passed for one assist.

Fresman Kaito Thammavong impressed from his midfield position, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in 15 games played.

Abdikadir was a constant presence for PCC, starting all 18 games and scoring three goals.

Panthers named to the 2nd Team were Gerardo Contreras and Joseph Roeper.

Contreras was a threat from his wing position, scoring two goals and passing for two assists.

The goalkeeper spot was a strength thanks to Roeper, who made 118 saves for the season, while registering two shutouts.

The Panthers qualified for the playoffs fo the 6th time as a program after placing 3rd in the NWAC South region.
